Additional Details & Conditions
Eligibility and availability apply. Free appointments are limited and subject to availability. GH Physiocare reserves the right to prioritise appointments according to the purpose and capacity of the community programme.
Not intended as continuous weekly free treatment for the same individual. Repeat appointments are not guaranteed and will depend on clinical need, availability and the physiotherapist's professional judgement.
Continuity with the same physiotherapist cannot be guaranteed. Community sessions may be provided by different appropriately qualified physiotherapists depending on staffing and availability.
Clinical assessment comes first. The physiotherapist will determine whether physiotherapy assessment or treatment is appropriate and safe for the individual.
Treatment may be declined, stopped or deferred if the physiotherapist identifies a clinical red flag, contraindication, safeguarding concern or another issue requiring further medical assessment or referral.
Where appropriate, patients may be advised to contact their GP, NHS 111, another healthcare professional or emergency services, depending on the nature and urgency of the concern.
Important Information
The type and extent of treatment provided will be determined by the treating physiotherapist following assessment. A particular treatment, technique or number of sessions cannot be guaranteed.
Standard clinic requirements relating to consent, confidentiality, respectful behaviour and clinical safety continue to apply to community appointments.
The community programme is not an emergency medical service. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency should seek appropriate emergency assistance.
